As these days become shorter and darker its super important to keep self care top of mind. If you ask us, self-care doesn’t have to be fancy. It’s those small, intentional moments that bring you back to yourself- a slow morning coffee, a quiet walk, or lighting your favourite candle after a long day-- Emily's personal favourite 😉 long before onefive1 even became a thing. 


At onefive1, we’re big believers that scent can completely change the mood. It can ground you, energize you, or help you melt into a little moment of peace. So whether you’re new to candle rituals or already have your lineup of favourites, here’s how to add a little extra glow to your daily routine.

 

Morning Reset ☀️

 

Start your day with something light, bright, and full of good energy.

Scents like Squeeze the Day or Main Squeeze are perfect for easing into the morning while you sip your coffee or get ready for the day. Personal side note squeeze the day was made for me to get me butt out of bed on those days I really didn't want to but needed a little chuckle early on. 

Take a deep breath, set an intention (even something simple like “I’m going to have a good day”), and let the flicker of the flame remind you that you’re in control of your own energy.

Little tip: Try journaling or stretching while your candle burns — it makes those quiet morning minutes feel even more intentional.
